John Patrick Hayden
First of all, John said he would actually do it if selected! Plus, he is getting fed up with our government and thinking of becoming a secessionist. This job could reel him back into the fold of The United States of America. John brings over 25 years of sustainable agriculture experience as a farmer and educator to this position. He is great with the public and has worked as a university professor and extension agent. John pushes boundaries in his quest for health, beauty and permanence in agricultural systems. He would bring his team of small draft horses (Nora and Nellie) to plow, disc and harrow the whitehouse lawn. The Obama family would be welcome to ride and pet Nora and Nellie- did you hear that girls? He has experience with all manner of products that can be raised and marketed in the Northeast. Along with organic fruits and vegetables, a milk cow, sheep, pigs, chickens and rabbits grazing on cover crops would be a fixture on the White House Lawn. Along with English, he speaks French, Spanish and Haitian Creole. He would be a hit with foreign dignitaries and White House chefs.
