Jerome is a great gardener and internationally-recognized teacher of sustainable agriculture (Permaculture) methods. He has ambly demonstrated that one can grow abundant crops under the harshest of conditions. He has established diversified gardens on golf courses and on public highway medians to demonstrate that gardens can be beautiful and productive almost anywhere.

Carmen is passionate about sustainable local agriculture. She is familiar with the local area even though she is now interning in Colorado. She would also want to graze sheep on the White House grounds.
